Ms. Katz joined Vector in 2006.
Prior to Vector Capital, Ms. Katz was the Director of Corporate Business Development at Peoplesoft responsible for all mergers, acquisitions, and equity investments.
In her role, she completed the JDEdwards acquisition, participated in the Oracle hostile defense, and led multiple international acquisition activities.
Throughout her career she has been intimately involved with every functional area of a software company, from sales to development, and brings a unique operating perspective to Vector's portfolio.
Prior to Peoplesoft, Ms. Katz was a Director of Corporate Finance at Ariba with primary responsibility for investor relations and corporate development.
Ms. Katz came to Ariba through the acquisition of Tradex Technologies where she drove product marketing and strategy.
Prior to Tradex Technologies, Ms. Katz was a consultant for Accenture in the change management practice focused specifically in the technology sector.
Through engagements with Sun Microsystems, Perkin Elmer Biosystems, and Gateway, she has worked with large scale enterprise resource management implementations.
Ms. Katz has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis.
