Prior to that, he served as the chief investment officer and chief compliance officer of Freedom Capital where he was responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment processes and served on the firm equity style committee.
Before Freedom Capital in 1995, he worked as a senior fixed income portfolio manager for Shawmut National Corporation.
He has been in the investment industry since 1983.
Mr. Spencer received an AB from the University of Notre Dame.
