Nim Kwan Cheung is the founder of National Engineering Research Centre for Application Specific.

Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Applied Science & Technology Research Institute, an Independent Non-Executive Director of Suga International Holdings Ltd., and the President of IEEE Communications Society.
He pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Hong Kong and completed his graduate and doctorate degrees at the California Institute of Technology.
