Mr. Cooper was born in New Orleans, LA on July 24, 1966.
In 1989, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Loyola University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Alpha Honor Society.
He has also completed graduate business courses at the University of San Francisco.
He was awarded the NASD Series 6, 7, 24, 65, and 31 security licenses.
Mr. Cooper holds the Chartered and Certified Market Analyst™ "FAD Financial Analyst Designate" Credential & the Master Financial Professional™ Designation from The American Academy of Financial Management™.
Mr. Cooper also holds the CWM Chartered Wealth Manager Certified Trainer Credential and has recently trained Reuters Analysts in Hong Kong in investment management and financial analysis.
Mr. Cooper was a Senior Financial Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank.
He also has held employment at Sterling Bank & Trust, Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter and Franklin Templeton.
Prior to co-founding WestEnd Capital Management LLC in July 2002, he was a Shareholder and a Portfolio Manager at Lehrer Management Company, Inc., (1999-2002).
Mr. Cooper’s experience in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley has focused on portfolio management, investment management, and wealth management.
Together with Charlie Bolton and George Bolton, Mr. Cooper manages the investment of our portfolios.
He also provides assistance in the areas of investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, and general financial planning.
Mr. Cooper has additionally served as an Honorary member of the Global Board of Standards of the American Academy of Financial Management.
