Métier

Atlas Copco AB figure parmi les principaux groupes industriels mondiaux. Le CA par famille de produits se répartit comme suit :

- compresseurs d'air et de gaz et groupes électrogènes (68,1%). Le groupe commercialise également des équipements de traitement de l'air comprimé (filtres, sécheurs, refroidisseurs, réservoirs d'air) ;

- outillage industriel (16,4%) : meuleuses, ponceuses, outils à percussion, perceuses, taraudeuses, outils d'assemblage pneumatiques, visseuses, etc. ;

- matériel de construction, de forage et de démolition (15,5%) : brises-roches pneumatiques et hydrauliques, marteaux perforateurs, engins de forage, chariots de mines, machines de sondage ascendant, etc.

La répartition géographique du CA est la suivante : Suède (1,3%), Europe (26,8%), Asie et Océanie (36,5%), Amérique du Nord (26,7%), Afrique et Moyen Orient (4,7%) et Amérique du Sud (4%).
